Description:
This program in its entirety provides 5 hours (0.5 CEU) of AMA Category 1 CME, and CNE pharmacology credit.
At the conclusion of this program, the participant will be able to:
Review recent updates to the standards of care recommended by the American Diabetes Association. Evaluate the advantages, disadvantages, and place in therapy for recently approved diabetes medications. Describe recent cardiovascular outcome trials for new diabetes medications and their implications for patient care. Identify new insulin delivery devices and glucose monitoring devices; Determine their utility in patients with diabetes.
