Description:
Join the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) for an update on current human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine recommendations and strategies to increase vaccination rates. NFID Medical Director, William Schaffner, MD, will moderate the webinar with presentations by Robert A. Bednarczyk, PhD, Assistant Professor at Emory University and Lauri E. Markowitz, MD, HPV Team Lead and Associate Director of Science at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Discuss US recommendations for the use of HPV vaccines • Summarize data on HPV vaccine safety and effectiveness • Describe strategies for increasing HPV vaccination rates among US adolescents and young adults
