A recent stakeholders’ conference aimed at improving long-term outcomes for ICU survivors identified important ‘silos’ among critical care and rehabilitation clinicians working in the ICU, with these ‘silos’ acting as a barrier to collaboratively advancing the field and improving patient outcomes.
