Description:
This annual two-day symposium focuses on new and practical issues facing healthcare professionals caring for the critically-ill neurological patient.
Day 1: Participants will witness experts lecture and deliberate how they would manage critically-ill neurological patients according to the most recent evidence and literature findings. This year's symposium includes keynote lectures from David Greer, MD from Boston University School of Medicine and Romergryko Geocadin, MD from John Hopkins School of Medicine.
Day 2: Participants will further enhance their learning through five practical workshops, reflecting real-life, patient cases faced by critical care practitioners. They will assess their level of knowledge and performance in intense critical care situations through the following simulated critical care episodes:
- ICP Crisis - Status Epilepticus - Application of TTM - Brain Death - MCA Stroke
