Now with introduction of robotic bronchoscopy, we are on the verge of another major advancement in the role of bronchoscopy for accessing peripheral pulmonary lesions. Optimally performing these procedures, in appropriate patients, is paramount, and requires proper training of the entire team involved. This year, we are placing a special emphasis on teamwork and collaboration during hands-on sessions, as well as providing separate didactic lecture series for the MDs and the RNs/Techs for more relevant topics for each group.
