The therapeutic landscape in IBD is changing very fast, resulting in rapid and dramatic changes to therapeutic algorithms and disease monitoring. The course will review the impact of positioning new therapeutics, optimization of medical therapy, disease management in pregnancy, alternative therapeutics and multidisciplinary approaches to complex clinical scenarios including abscesses and fistulas. It will also cover novel therapies including the advent of biosimilar drugs and their impact in the management of IBD patients.
