Description:
Day One: Lectures from guest speakers Neeraj Badjatia, MD, University of Maryland School of Medicine, and Michael N. Diringer, MD, Washington University School of Medicine. Together with Jefferson faculty, attendees will be provided expert critique of treatment approaches, interpret clinical and laboratory findings from, and navigate through the critical decision points of care. Day Two: A hands-on, case-based practical workshop at Jefferson’s advanced Rector Clinical Skills & Simulation Center with instruction from Jefferson neuro-critical care faculty. New This Year! Now featuring five simulation workshops: ICP Crisis, Status Epilepticus, Application of TTM, Brain Death, and MCA Stroke. This innovative course will be of interest to all specialists working in the fields of emergency medicine, internal medicine, hospital medicine, neurology, critical care, and neurosurgery.
