Description:
Physicians and surgeons licensed in Pennsylvania are now required to obtain at least two (2) hours in specific, state-identified topics related to opioids as part of state’s biannual relicensing process. The education can be any of three specific areas:
•Practices of Prescribing or Dispensing of Opioids •Pain Management •Identification of Addiction
Jefferson CPD is providing three one hour, online courses on these topics to help you meet this new requirement. They feature Jefferson faculty experts, and are designed not only to meet the state license requirement, but also to advance your knowledge and competence in this very important area. The opioid online courses can also count towards your patient safety license renewal requirements.
