Our experts are chosen for their excellence as teachers and they will share their clinical expertise and insight to help you improve your performance and practice. They will guide you to appropriate use of conventional imaging modalities such as plain film radiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and angiography; and when appropriate, they will emphasize newer important imaging modalities including PET/CT, diffusion weighted MR, cardiac CT, and virtual colonoscopy. Current and future trends in radiology informatics will also be explored. Major emphasis will be placed on the practical and clinical aspects of Diagnostic Radiology. Diagnostic tips, techniques and pitfalls will be stressed and differential diagnoses of common radiological findings will be covered. Unknown case reviews will be held after each morning and afternoon lecture session--allowing participants to test themselves in a relaxed atmosphere. These popular sessions will stress practical clinical problems and differential diagnoses. Audience Response System (ARS) technology will be used throughout the course and many Self-Assessment Credits (SAMs) will be offered.
