Description:
The purpose of the meeting is to bring together radiologists, physicists and technologists who have a strong interest in breast MRI who would like to learn about ongoing research and discuss the future directions of breast MRI. The meeting will focus not only on Abbreviated Breast MRI (AB-MR), but also on a broad spectrum of other MR research topics. Clinical lectures and workshops that allow workstation reading will also be provided. The meeting will reflect an international focus and follow in the legacy of the late Werner Kaiser, who held a well-respected meeting in Jena, Germany, in past years. Proceedings from the Congress will be published following the conclusion of the meeting.
Optional Hands-On Case Review Workshops

Friday May 25, 2018 and Saturday May 26, 2018: 3:30-5:30 pm
Attendees will have the opportunity for hands on workstation case review of 100 screening and diagnostic breast MRIs with faculty supervision. An approach to breast MRI interpretation will be emphasized. Attendees will independently review the breast MRIs and receive immediate feedback. Workshop is limited to 40 attendees.
Abbreviated Breast MRI Workstation Case Review: 4 CME credits
Sunday May 27, 2018: 1:00-5:00 pm
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the first workshop of its kind. The workshop will include 50 abbreviated breast MRI cases as well as short didactic lectures on approaches to interpreting abbreviated breast MRI. Attendees will independently review the breast MRIs and receive immediate feedback for each case with faculty supervision. Workshop is limited to 40 attendees.
