Description:
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES At the end of the activity, participants should be able to: Discuss new approaches to medication management for serious mental illness. Assessing and managing the emotions and negative symptoms in schizophrenia. Be familiar with the insights that new advances in our understanding of the genetics of serious mental illness. Analyze the data on adolescent brain development and mental health risks. Recommend interventions for young adults with autism spectrum disorder. Discuss and assess the use of telepsychiatry for remote patient care.
