Description:
This course will present the most recent data guiding the management of atrial fibrillation and will leave providers with an in-depth understanding of both medical and invasive treatments for the arrhythmia. The course will discuss the role of ablation and will include a video demonstration of the procedure. The program will cover risk factors and pathophysiology of the arrhythmia, efficacy and appropriate use of pharmacologic therapy and anticoagulation, and the potential effects of atrial fibrillation on the brain and cardiovascular outcomes.
