Description:
At the end of the activity, participants should be able to:
•Evaluate the policy and legal considerations surrounding telehealth care.
•Describe various models of pediatric telehealth programs.
•Evaluate types of technologies that are available and strategies for measuring the success of their pediatric telehealth programs.
•Implement or improve the pediatric telehealth program at their institution.
•Identify uses of direct to consumer technologies, and what may be appropriate for their program.
•Discuss challenges in the field and identify opportunities to overcome these barriers to broaden the use of pediatric telehealth services.
