Description:
At the end of the activity, participants should be able to: • Accurately describe skin lesions • Use an algorithmic approach to dermatologic diagnosis • Recognize serious dermatologic diseases, such as bullous diseases, drug eruptions, and exanthems to determine the initial approach or referral strategy • Confidently diagnose and treat common skin diseases such as acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczematous diseases, apthous ulcers, cutaneous ulcers, and pigmentary conditions • Recognize benign and malignant skin tumors and know the best modes of treatment • Recognize when and how to perform skin biopsies and simple procedures
