Description:
Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) is a rapidly evolving investigation modality that is likely to undergo the largest expansion of all imaging modalities over the next 10 years. This timely event will explore how CMR can provide solutions for many difficult scenarios that clinicians encounter and attendees will gain tips on how to improve clinical practice and diagnosis.
This event will focus on the clinical use of cardiac MRI as a robust and excellent tool in the management of heart disease. It is aimed at clinicians who practice Cardiac MR, are about to start a new service or are learning about it. It is suitable for radiologists, cardiologists, or trainees from both specialities.
Learning outcomes: Learn how to utilise and increase the use of CMR with important specific indications and conditions including optimising the use of evolving techniques and common pitfalls. Learn about T1/T2 mapping techniques.
