?Recognize patients at risk of disease progression and hepatic decompensation
7.Drug-Induced Liver Injury (DILI)
?Assess the cirrotic patient
? Discuss management and treatment issues in decompensated patients
?Recognize DILI and differentiate from other acute liver injury
?Identify basic types of DILI
?Discuss management of DILI
8.Screening for Colorectal Cancer
?Utilize current guidelines, identify high risk patients, and understand factors that cause screening to fail
9.Irritable Bowel Syndrome
?Distinguish the different forms of IBS.
?Increase physician’s knowledge of the different treatments for IBS, chronic abdominal pain and Narcotic Bowel Syndrome
10.Inflammatory Bowel Disease
?Improve the compliance of patient with their IBD therapy.
?Recognize complications of the new therapies for IBD
11.Esophageal Disease
?Distinguish the etiologies, diagnosis, and treatment options in patients with chest pain and heartburn
12.Ulcer Disease
?Prevent and treat ulcer disease based on different potential etiologies
13.Common Medical Problems in Patients with Chronic Gastrointestinal Diseases
?Discuss guidelines for preventive care of patients with chronic Gastrointestinal disorders
14.Chronic and Recurring Diarrhea
?Design a cost effective approach to the assessment and management of chronic diarrhea
