About This CME Activity This CME teaching activity provides a broad overview of diagnostic imaging used in clinical practice. A broad range of lecture topics, with emphasis on practical applications, will be presented. Topics will include, breast imaging, musculoskeletal, abdomen, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and neuroradiology.
Target Audience This CME activity is primarily intended and designed to educate diagnostic imaging physicians who perform and interpret imaging procedures. It should also be useful in educating referring physicians who order imaging procedures.
Educational Objectives At the completion of this CME teaching activity, you should be able to: -Effectively utilize diagnostic imaging modalities to evaluate cardiovascular, body, breast, musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. -Provide a full range of differential diagnoses for cardiovascular, body, breast, musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. -Integrate appropriate imaging protocols to assess cardiovascular, body, breast, musculoskeletal and neurological disorders into clinical practice. -Recognize the appearance of normal anatomy and common pathology of all organ systems. -Discuss current safety regulations and guidelines as they apply to diagnostic imaging procedures.
